MTL Safety Barrier TP48-3-N-NDI Surge Protection Device
The TP48 range of surge protection devices provides superior protection for 2, 3, and 4-wire field-mounted transmitters, exceeding the optional transient protection capabilities available from transmitter manufacturers. This enhanced protection requires no additional wiring, conduit modifications, or expensive extras.
The TP48 protection network incorporates high-power solid-state electronics and a gas-filled discharge tube capable of diverting 20kA impulses. The entire unit is housed in a durable 316 stainless steel enclosure with threaded entries compatible with common process transmitter conduit systems.
