VEGAVIB 61 Vibrating Level Switch for Granular Bulk Solids
The VEGAVIB 61 VB61.XXAGDRAMX is a robust vibrating level switch designed for reliable point level detection in granular bulk solids across various industrial process applications.
Measuring Principle
VEGAVIB and VEGAWAVE level sensors operate on the vibration principle. VEGAVIB utilizes a vibrating rod as the sensor element, while VEGAWAVE employs a tuning fork. Both are engineered for industrial use in all process technology areas, primarily for bulk solids applications.
The vibrating element (rod or fork) is piezoelectrically energized and vibrates at its mechanical resonance frequency. The piezoelectric elements are mechanically fixed, eliminating temperature shock limitations. When the vibrating element contacts the product, the vibration frequency changes, which the integrated electronics module detects and converts into a switching command.
