New Energy Vehicles 510km BYD Yuan Plus EV Electric Car SUV Flagship
BYD Yuan EV have the standard range version has a single 150kW rear electric motor. The long range uses dual motors with 150kW up front and 110kW in back for AWD.
Battery: Lithium-iron phosphate battery packs are mounted low under the floor for stability. The larger 82.5 kWh pack provides over 600km of NEDC range.
Charging: Both AC and DC fast charging are supported up to 800V. BYD claims a 0-80% charge in 30-45 mins using a high powered fast charger.
Performance: 0-100 kph time is quoted as 3.9 seconds for the long range AWD model. Electronically limited top speed is 180 kph.
Regenerative Braking: Single pedal driving is enabled thanks to energy recovery under deceleration and braking to extend range.
