A hydraulic torque converter is placed between engine and gearbox, which can give full play to the engine power, increase the output torque, adapt to the external load changes within a certain range, and automatically adjust to achieve stepless speed change. All of these designs can protect the engine from stalling and prevent loader parts against damage due to overloading.
