Installation Guidelines
Preparation Requirements
- Shaft outside diameter tolerance: ±0.05mm
- Shaft run out: < 0.1mm
- Shaft end float: < 0.13mm
- No sharp edges on the shaft over the O-ring
Important Note: During installation, avoid scratching or damaging the O-ring. If any component is damaged, contact us immediately for replacement.
Installation Procedure
Cartridge seals are thoroughly cleaned and leak-tested before sale. Do not disassemble or clean components before installation to prevent damage.
Step 1: Ensure shaft fitting allowance is dl h6 0.8. The shaft end should have a leading edge. Lubricate the shaft with oil.
Step 2: Place cartridge seal into pump chamber, then:
- Tighten four screw bolts of flanges, ensuring medium leading in hole "G" is at the top position
- Tighten four set screws to position the shaft sleeve on the shaft
- Remove four gauge plates (retain for future installation and disassembly)
- Connect medium lead-in pipe with hole "G" to flush away friction heat and seal chamber during pump operation
Final Check: After installation, manually rotate the shaft to verify smooth rotation. If rotation is not smooth, the seal may have been improperly installed.
