Installation Preparation
- Shaft outside diameter tolerance: ±0.05mm
- Shaft run out: <0.1mm
- Shaft end float: <0.13mm
- No sharp edges on shaft over O-ring area
Important Note: During installation, avoid scratching or damaging the O-ring. If any damage occurs, contact us immediately for replacement.
Installation Instructions
Our cartridge seals are thoroughly cleaned and leak-tested before sale. Do not disassemble or clean parts before installation to prevent damage.
- Shaft fitting allowance: dl h6 0.8 with leading edge at shaft end
- Outside diameter at screw position should be 0.1-0.2mm smaller to prevent over-tightening
- Lubricate shaft with oil before installation
- Place cartridge seal into pump chamber and proceed as follows:
- Tighten four flange screw bolts, ensuring medium leading hole "G" is at top position
- Tighten four set screws to position shaft sleeve on shaft
- Remove four gauge plates (retain for future installation/disassembly)
- Connect medium lead-in pipe with hole "G" to flush away friction heat and seal chamber during pump operation
Post-Installation Check: After complete installation, turn shaft by hand to verify smooth rotation. If shaft does not rotate smoothly, seal has been improperly installed.
