Product Description:
Desanding Hydrocyclones are commonly used for desliming, dewatering and sizing -4mesh (5mm) particles. They can be used in industries such as sand, aggregates, coal, industrial minerals, hard rock mining and more. The use of Hydrocyclones in washing and stockpiling is common in the construction aggregate industry.
Adopt vertical volute axis direction type shaft with spiral down channel structure, smooth inner surface, ensure bigger dispersion of slurry. Better classifying efficiency of hydrocyclone, less abrasion, changeable inner sleeve, easy installation, convenience maintenance.
Working Principle:
Solids and water are pumped in under pressure, creating a swirling motion inside the cyclone cylinder which throws the solids to the outside of the cylinder by centrifugal force. The larger particles move downwards under gravity and leave via the bottom outlet with a small quantity of water. A small amount of the fine solids remains near the centre of the cyclone with most of the water; this then spirals upwards around an air core and is removed via a central pipe (the vortex finder) and out the top overflow.

Applications:
Applications of the desanding hydrocyclone were originally in the mineral processing industry for solid-liquid separation, i.e., the dewatering of particulate solids suspended in a water stream.
For mineral applications such as in hard rock and precious metals processing, Cyclones are the most common equipment to control what size of materials exit the comminution (ball milling) circuit.
