Introduction:
This product is a white crystalline powder. It is readily soluble in water and alcohol, and slightly soluble in benzene. The solution tends to polymerise when heated for prolonged periods, whilst the dried product is thermally stable.
Uses:
Used as the third monomer in acrylic fibre production to improve the fibre’s dyeing properties; it can also be used as a brightener in electroplating, a water quality stabiliser and a slurry additive.
