CRONIFER 926 (UNS N08926 / W.Nr. 1.4529) is a highly corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steel with 25% nickel, 6.5% molybdenum, and nitrogen for enhanced strength. Available in bar, rod, wire, forging, plate, and strip, it excels in harsh environments like chemical processing, marine, and pollution control. It resists pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-rich and acidic conditions, making it ideal for heat exchangers, piping, seawater systems, and offshore equipment. With high strength, good weldability, and formability, it meets ASTM B625, ASTM B649, and ISO 6208 standards. Used in oil & gas, desalination, and flue gas desulfurization, it ensures durability in extreme environments.
