When applying a coating or wrapping to a surface, it is important to follow certain temperature and application guidelines to ensure the best results.

In order to apply the coating or wrapping successfully, the volume solution temperature must be above 5 ℃. It is important to note that the application temperature should be carried out at 5 ℃ above to ensure proper adhesion and effectiveness of the coating or wrapping.

When applying a thin coat paste, the paste should be applied to threads, cavities, shoulders, pits, and other irregularities on the surface. This will ensure that the paste effectively covers the surface and fills any gaps, providing a strong barrier against moisture or other potential sources of damage.

For wrapping, it is recommended to stuff mastic in uneven areas such as flanges and valves to fill any gaps. The mastic should be molded and packed into irregularities to eliminate bridging and voids. Once the mastic has been applied, you should wrap petrolatum tape around the surface while applying tension to assure tight tape adhesion. This will provide additional protection against moisture and other potential sources of damage.

To provide additional protection against mechanical damages and better isolation from air, it is recommended to use PVC tape as an outer protection layer for the petrolatum tape.
