Our two-component epoxy primer is specifically formulated as the first layer of a three-layer heat shrink sleeve system for pipeline field joint corrosion protection. The solvent-free epoxy composition provides a high-build, fast-curing base that bonds firmly to blast-cleaned steel and compatible factory coatings, ensuring the shrink sleeve adhesive achieves durable peel strength and superior cathodic disbondment resistance.

System Integration
This primer is designed to work as an integrated component of heat shrink sleeve systems, compatible with common field joint coating configurations including three-layer PE and PP systems. When used with compatible shrink sleeves, the complete system meets the requirements for operating temperatures up to 100°C or higher depending on grade. The epoxy layer provides the critical bond between the steel substrate and the shrink sleeve adhesive, forming a durable, watertight corrosion protection structure for pipeline field joints
