Product Description:
Industrial-grade monoammonium phosphate, known by its Chinese alias as ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and abbreviated as TMAP, has the chemical formula NH4H2PO4 and a molecular weight of 115.03.
This substance is typically found in the form of a white powder or granular material. The granular products exhibit high particle compressive strength. It has a melting point of 190℃, a density of 1.803 at 18℃, and a solubility of 41.6 g/100g at 25℃.
The pH of a 1% aqueous solution of TMAP is 4.5. It is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in dimethyl ketone. It remains stable at room temperature and does not possess redox properties.
Although TMAP does not combust or explode when exposed to high temperatures, acids, alkalis, or redox substances, it shows good solubility in water and acids. In its powdered form, it is somewhat hygroscopic.
Furthermore, TMAP demonstrates exceptional thermal stability. At high temperatures, it dehydrates to form viscous chain compounds like ammonium pyrophosphate, ammonium polyphosphate, and ammonium metaphosphate.
