Plastic Squeezer Dryer for PP PE Film and Woven Bags

Efficient dewatering and drying solution for washed PP/PE films, PP woven bags and other soft plastic materials, with models available from 300 to 1500 kg/h.


Moisture Control After Mechanical Dewatering

After washing, PP and PE films normally retain a significant amount of surface water. The plastic squeezer uses mechanical compression and friction to remove water before the material enters the subsequent pelletizing or extrusion process.

For suitable washed PP/PE film and woven-bag feedstock, the squeezer is designed to reduce the moisture content to approximately 3–5%.

The actual moisture level depends on factors such as:

  • Feedstock type and thickness
  • Initial moisture content
  • Washing process
  • Feeding rate
  • Material contamination
  • Machine model and operating conditions

For this reason, the final moisture specification should be confirmed according to the customer's actual material and production requirements.






Application

HDPE LDPE LLDPE films coming from agricultural film, greenhouse film, post-consumer plastic film, PE household waste film, PP woven bag cleaning and drying at the end of the plastic films and bags washing line, etc.

Structure:

It consists of motor, gearbox, screw, cylinder, heater and die mold, cutting device,wind transmission and material storage silo.

Principle:

Based on the principle of extrusion and dewatering, the rotating screw conveys and compresses the raw material toward the mold. The material is then cut into granules ranging from approximately 10–60 mm in length by a die-face pelletizer. The moisture content after extrusion is reduced to between 3–5%. After pelletizing, the material automatically wind convey to a storage silo for further processing or final packaging. The end products are uniform, high-density pellets.
