Product Performance
This product is a kind of metal deactivator. It can form chelates with metal ions, thereby creating an inert protective film on the metal surface. This inhibits the catalytic effect of metals or their ions on the oxidation of oil products. It has excellent copper corrosion inhibition property and shows a remarkable synergistic effect when compounded with amine and phenolic antioxidants.
Scope of Application and Recommended Dosage
It is widely used in various oil products such as turbine oils, oil-film bearing oils, industrial gear oils, transformer oils and circulating oils. During the use of this product, avoid compounding it with ZDDP. Otherwise, precipitation may occur.
Recommended dosage: 0.01~0.05%
