Can the fire rating of polycarbonate corrugated roof panels reach Class A?
Normally, polycarbonate corrugated roof panels are difficult to achieve Class A fire rating.
Polycarbonate itself is an organic polymer material, and even after flame retardant treatment, its essence still belongs to combustible polymer. It will decompose and burn under high temperature or open flame. The requirement for A-level fireproof materials is non combustible materials, such as inorganic fibers, rock wool, glass wool, gypsum board, etc. These materials are made of inorganic minerals and will not burn in a fire, effectively preventing the spread of fire.
Although polycarbonate corrugated roof panels can meet the B1 level flame retardant standard by adding a large amount of high-performance flame retardants and other means, it is difficult to achieve the non combustible A-level fire rating due to the chemical properties and composition of the material itself.

A: You can’t see the UV layer with the naked eyes. A laboratory test is required to prove this. Some international labs have this facility. Usually UV side layer will more thicker than the down side.
