Material characteristics

Excellent light transmittance: The polycarbonate board has a light transmittance of up to 89%, close to glass, and after UV coating treatment, it is not easily yellowed or atomized even after prolonged exposure to sunlight. After ten years, the light transmittance decreases by no more than 10%.

Strong impact resistance: The impact resistance is 250 to 300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic sheets of the same thickness, and 2 to 20 times that of tempered glass. It is not easy to break and has high safety.

UV protection: One side has an anti UV coating and the other side has anti condensation treatment, which can block UV penetration, protect plants from UV damage, and prevent condensation inside the board.

Lightweight: With a density only half that of glass, it is easy to transport, handle, and install, and the cost of supporting the frame is low.

Good flame retardancy: Recognized as Class B1 flame retardant, with an ignition point of 580 ℃, it self extinguishes upon ignition, does not produce harmful gases during combustion, and can reduce the risk of fire.

Flexibility: It can be cold bent or hot bent on site according to the design drawing, with a minimum bending radius of 175 times the thickness, and can be processed into various shapes.

Good sound insulation: Compared to glass and acrylic panels of the same thickness, the sound insulation performance is better, which can create a quiet growth environment for plants.

Excellent energy efficiency: Low thermal conductivity, insulation effect 7% to 25% higher than ordinary glass, up to 49%, can effectively reduce heat loss and energy consumption.
