Glass Density Measuring Instrument Sinking and Floating Density Meter Comparator

1. Use
The MD-5 type sinking and floating comparison density meter is a density testing instrument designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB/T14901-2008 "Glass Density Determination-Sagging and Floating Comparison Method". It can be used to measure the density values of glass or other non-porous solids of 1.1 to 3.3 g/cm3, and can also be used to measure the apparent density of ceramics or solids with known porosity.
Measurement method
After the temperature is reached, the density value of the standard sample can be automatically calculated and displayed.
2. Instrument composition
MD-5 type sinking and floating comparison density meter consists of the following components:
1. A glass water bathtub with a capacity of 5000mL.
2.40w ring lamp.
3. A magnetic stirrer with a rotation speed of 0~1500r/min, stepless speed regulation, and a power of 25W.
4. An electric heater equipped with a rheostat has a power of 300W.
