Float Glass Side Light Detector 
1. Use
 The CM-5 side light detector is designed in accordance with the requirements of the national standard GB11614-2009 "Floating Glass". It is used in conjunction with the appearance detector to test the number and size of various defects of float glass. It is a necessary quality inspection equipment for float glass manufacturers.
2. Principle
The CM-5 side light detector is equipped with an iodine tungsten lamp in the closed light box. There is an open slit on the light box. The glass is inserted into the slit and runs forward. The light enters the glass from the glass section. Due to the diffuse of various defects on the glass, the defects show bright spots on the glass panel surface. Note the location of the highlights and use an appearance detector and reading microscope to detect the types and sizes of the defects.
