This instrument is suitable for testing the wear resistance of products such as plastics, automotive parts, rubber, leather and textiles, electroplating, freely disassembled components, paints, printed patterns, etc. It can be used to assess both the wear resistance and the scratch resistance (single or multiple scratches) of products, as well as the color transfer. Both dry and wet wear tests can be conducted. It can test samples of any size or shape and is particularly ideal for wear tests of products with contoured or polished surfaces (such as the wear resistance test of plastic surface coatings on computer mice and other computer or IT products).
