Introduction about drying oven
At the core of every drying oven is its heating system. The most common element is a coil of nichrome wire—an alloy of nickel and chromium renowned for its high electrical resistance and ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling without oxidizing. These elements are strategically placed within the chamber walls or at the bottom, often behind baffles to distribute heat evenly.
In some high-performance ovens, ceramic-encased elements are used for durability. The elements are controlled by the main electronic system, which switches power to them on and off (or modulates it) based on the feedback from the temperature sensor. The reliability and placement of these elements directly influence the oven's heating rate, recovery time, and ultimate temperature uniformity.
