Introduction about drying oven
Safe operation of a laboratory drying oven is paramount. Ovens should be placed on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials and with adequate clearance for ventilation. They must not be used to dry or heat any explosive, highly flammable, or peroxide-forming substances. Loads should be arranged to allow free air circulation; overcrowding can create hazardous hot spots and compromise drying efficacy. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including heat-resistant gloves and safety glasses, should always be used when handling hot items.
The oven must not be left unattended for extended periods without proper safeguards, and it should be regularly inspected for any signs of damage to the cord, controls, or interior. Proper use and maintenance ensure both user safety and the integrity of the oven's function.
