Spherical Buoy - Resilient Closed Cell Polyethylene/EVA Foam Core Mooring Buoys
The spherical buoy is a representative pick-up buoy available in spherical or oval shapes. Designed with steelwork construction through its vertical center, these buoys can be supplied with swivel end or custom end fittings.
Construction & Materials
- Resilient closed cell polyethylene/EVA foam core around inner steelwork
- Polyurethane (PU) outer skin for abrasion and UV resistance
- Self-fendering and unsinkable design, even when damaged
- Optional nylon-reinforced protective coating for extreme environments
For deep water applications, these spherical mooring buoys can also be constructed with Synthetic Foam.
