Netless Type Foam Filled Marine Fenders with PU Skin for High Energy Absorption
Foam fenders are a tough, heavy-duty and unsinkable floating fender system designed for harbor, offshore and ship-to-ship applications. These foam filled fenders offer higher energy absorption with lower reaction force, outperforming pneumatic rubber fenders and other marine fender types. Their self-floating characteristic makes them ideal for ship-to-ship operations.
Netless foam fenders are designed without chain and tire net protection, while netted foam fenders include this additional protective feature.
The core consists of high-performance 100% closed-cell foam combined with a special laminating process to ensure structural integrity. This foam provides high energy absorption with relatively low reaction force and remains unsinkable even if the skin is punctured.
Features a rugged polyurethane elastomer outer skin reinforced with nylon mesh for added strength, designed to prevent snagging on hull protrusions or dock fittings.
Includes a through central steel tube with external load distribution flanges at each end. Heavy duty internal chains connect the end fittings through the central tube to transmit tensile load. All end fittings are hot-dip-galvanized for durability.
