Commercial Barrel Mooring Buoys Chain Throughtype Marine PE Floats
Commercial barrel mooring buoy is a representative mooring buoy type featuring a barrel shape with chain through, handling crucifix, and modular design. The steelwork construction runs vertically through the buoy's center, available with either handling crucifix or chain-through configurations.
Constructed with resilient closed-cell polyethylene/EVA foam around the inner steelwork and covered by polyurethane (PU) skin, these buoys offer:
- Self-fendering capability and unsinkable design even when damaged
- Self-colored polyurethane elastomer skin resistant to abrasion and UV degradation
- Optional nylon-reinforced polyurethane coating for extreme environments
- Virtually maintenance-free with high tear strength
