The cylindrical mooring buoy is one kind of representative mooring buoy. The cylindrical mooring buoys can be supplied in chain-through type, or equipped with pad-eye, crucifix, quick release hook, and maker or navigation equipment. Other varieties of end fittings are available to suit every case application. All end fittings are made of galvanized or painted steel to resist seawater corrosion. Application for commercial mooring buoys are offshore and remote mooring, temporary mooring of vessels in a port, dock or harbour, additional mooring for large vessels on berthing/mooring dolphins and longer term mooring for infrequently used vessels.
Product Description
The spherical buoy is a representative pick-up buoy available in spherical or oval shapes. These buoys feature vertical steelwork construction through their center and can be supplied with swivel end or other customized end fittings.
Constructed with resilient closed cell polyethylene/EVA foam around the inner central steelwork and covered by polyurethane (PU) outer skin, these buoys offer exceptional durability. The foam core ensures self-fendering and unsinkable performance even when damaged, while the self-colored polyurethane elastomer skin provides resistance to abrasion and UV degradation.
For extreme service environments, the polyurethane elastomer skin can be reinforced with nylon protective coating for higher tear strength, resulting in long-lasting, virtually maintenance-free performance.
The spherical mooring buoys can also be made of Synthetic Foam for deep water applications.
