Product Description
Good Air Tightness Rubber Material Pontoon Floating Support Marine Salvage Airbags
Marine salvage airbags are engineered based on ship launching airbag technology, representing the most robust solution for salvage operations. These versatile airbags serve as floating pontoons for salvage and flotation applications, capable of supporting shipwreck recovery, floating bridge rescue operations, dock construction, and various floating structures.
Constructed with a durable pneumatic rubber body, salvage rubber airbags excel in heavy-duty salvage work under severe environmental conditions. They are the preferred system where reliable, controllable buoyancy is essential, particularly for pipeline float-out operations, beach pulls, river crossings, vessel and platform draught reduction in limited water depths, and as temporary salvage pontoons for bridges and docks.
Marine salvage airbags feature an enclosed cylindrical buoyancy design, built with a high-tensile outer rubber layer, multiple heavy-duty synthetic tire cord reinforcement layers, and an inner rubber layer that is firmly vulcanized. The airbags incorporate lifting belts and shackles around their circumference, along with safety valves mounted at the ends that automatically release internal pressure during deep-water applications.
These cylindrical balloon bodies include two conical heads with end mouths, fitted with air-tightness swivel and air inlet kits. Polyester webbing lifting straps surround the entire airbag body, maintaining a minimum 6:1 safety factor relative to buoyancy capacity. The system can be equipped with automatic pressure relief valves that activate when internal pressure reaches rated levels, providing superior durability compared to PVC underwater air lift bags.
Key Advantages
High Buoyancy Capacity
Salvage rubber airbags generate substantial buoyancy capacity with safe air pressure levels, offering buoyancy ranging from 1 to 200 tons.
Deep Water Operation
Marine salvage rubber airbags are suitable for deepwater salvage lifting operations and can be equipped with safety valves.
Abrasion Resistance
Salvage rubber air bags feature 6-12 ply reinforcement layers designed to withstand significant abrasion and puncture.
Multipurpose Applications
Salvage airbags provide versatile buoyancy support for shipwrecks, pipeline laying operations, and bridge support projects.
