Structural Characteristics of Flanged Rubber Expansion Joint
- The single ball flexible rubber joint significantly reduces pipeline system vibration and noise, solving interface displacement, axial expansion, and concentricity issues.
- Available in various materials to resist acid, alkali, corrosion, oil, and heat for diverse media and environments.
- Constructed from polar rubber for excellent sealing, lightweight design, easy installation/maintenance, and long service life (avoid contact with sharp metal instruments).
- For overhead use, elastic support is recommended with diagonal bolt tightening during installation.
- For high-pressure pipelines, limit bolts can connect both flange ends together.
- Flange connection standard: GB/T 17241.6. Rated working pressures: 0.25, 0.6, 1.0, 1.6, 2.5, 4.0, 6.4 MPa.
Composition of Flange Type Rubber Expansion Joint
Comprises a colloid and two looping flanges. The colloid features inner/outer synthetic rubber layers, nylon cord skeleton, and pressurized steel ring, vulcanized at high temperature using air blowing mold process.
