Carbon Steel Galvanized Flange Single Sphere EPDM Flexible Rubber Expansion Joint
Flexible rubber joints, also known as shock absorbers, soft joints, rubber soft connections, or pipeline shock absorbers, are designed to solve various pipeline issues including offset, axial expansion, and different concentricity. Widely used in civil construction water supply and drainage engineering, fire network pump room unit pipeline connections, sewage treatment pipeline connections, high-pressure gas liquefaction medium transport, oil, and ships. These joints are the most commonly used rubber joints for pipeline fittings worldwide, offering advantages such as reduced pipeline noise, excellent sealing, lightweight design, easy installation and maintenance, and long service life.
- Rubber Tube Body: The main component made of natural rubber, butyl rubber, neoprene rubber, or silicone rubber. It provides excellent elasticity and flexibility to withstand pressure and deformation, enabling effective pipeline connection and compensation.
- Lining Material: Typically made of stainless steel, copper, or aluminum, this component enhances pressure resistance and wear resistance while protecting the rubber tube body from medium erosion and wear.
- Coat Material: A protective layer made of rubber, polyurethane, or polyethylene that shields the rubber tube body and lining material from external environmental factors while improving wear and corrosion resistance.
- Bolts and Gaskets: Connection parts usually made of stainless steel or carbon steel, ensuring tight joint connections to prevent leakage and loosening.
