OEM Pipe Expansion Compensator Joint PN16 NBR Flexible Expansion Joint
Thread double ball rubber soft joints, commonly known as flexible rubber joints, are constructed from high-quality materials including neoprene, natural rubber, and EPDM rubber. These joints automatically adjust to weather-induced natural changes. The threaded connectors provide flexible connections for shock absorbing applications, offering high elasticity, air tightness, medium resistance, and excellent weather resistance.
Threaded rubber joints are available in various materials to suit different applications:
- Metal materials: Carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel
- Rubber materials: Natural rubber, EPDM rubber, nitrile rubber, butyl rubber
Material selection depends on pipeline fluid properties including acid resistance, alkali resistance, oil resistance, and heat resistance requirements.
The threaded rubber joint consists of:
- Inner rubber layer
- Multi-layer nylon cord reinforcement
- Outer rubber layer
- Metal union joint
Also known as threaded rubber joint, fan coil unit rubber soft connection, or thread buckle rubber soft connection.

- Preparation: Ensure pipes and joints are clean, and inspect rubber seals for integrity.
- Determine location: Identify installation position based on connected pipe/equipment layout.
- Install rubber seal: Position seal at pipe port, ensuring complete coverage without twisting.
- Connecting joints: Align and tighten threads using appropriate tools without excessive force.
- Inspection and test: Verify joint security and perform hydrostatic test if applicable.
- Conduct thorough visual inspection before installation
- Apply threaded sealing tape (3-4 even wraps)
- Tighten evenly without excessive force
- Avoid over-tightening to prevent deformation
- Adjust joint angle as needed for optimal connection
