PN10 Axial Metal Expansion Joint DN2000 Bellow Expansion Joint
The bellows expansion joint is a compensating element that uses the effective expansion and contraction deformation of the bellows working body to absorb dimensional changes in pipes, ducts, and containers caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction. It compensates for axial, lateral, and angular displacement while reducing noise and vibration.
Commonly called an expansion joint, it consists of a bellows (elastic element) and accessories including end pipes, brackets, flanges, and ducts. These components work together to compensate for thermal displacement and mechanical deformation in pipelines, absorbing mechanical vibrations to reduce pipeline stress and extend service life.
Connection methods include flange connection and welding, with direct buried pipeline compensators typically using welding (except for trench installation).
