Sliding Pipe Support System is primarily designed for supporting insulated pipes and equipment. A complete insulated pipe support system consists of insulated pipe supports and cold insulation materials, with high-density polyisocyanurate (HDPIR) being the most critical component.

HDPIR is a foaming polymer combining characteristics of plastic, rubber and cork. Composed of isocyanate, polyether, foaming agent, catalyst and flame retardant, it forms a cellular structure with millions of tiny, uniform sealed cells. This provides superior low density, thermal conductivity and water absorption compared to traditional materials like timber.
