The use of groove check valves

The main function is to prevent medium backflow, prevent pump and drive motor from reversing, and prevent the discharge of container medium. It can also be used on pipelines that provide supply to auxiliary systems whose pressure may rise above the system pressure.

The characteristics of groove check valves

The valve disc is in a circular shape and rotates around the axis of the valve seat channel. Due to the streamlined channel inside the valve, the flow resistance is smaller than that of the butterfly check valve. It is suitable for large diameter applications with low flow rates and infrequent flow changes, but not suitable for pulsating flow. Its sealing performance is not as good as that of the lifting type.
