Pressure Compensator Operation
As delivery pressure approaches the compensator setting, the pump automatically reduces displacement to the minimum flow required to maintain the selected pressure. This reduces unnecessary throttling loss and hydraulic-fluid heating.
The CM control is a lower-pressure compensator configuration with an adjustment range up to approximately 10.5 MPa. The maximum working-pressure limit of the P16VM pump itself is 14 MPa.

Installation Notes
- Confirm clockwise rotation before coupling the pump to the motor.
- Fill the pump case with clean hydraulic oil before initial startup.
- Do not exceed the 14 MPa working-pressure limit of the P16VM pump.
- Set the maximum displacement and compensator pressure independently.
- Provide an unrestricted case-drain connection directly to the reservoir.
- Check shaft alignment and avoid applying radial or axial load to the pump shaft.

The S121-J suffix identifies a manufacturer-specific configuration that is not fully decoded in the standard public catalog. Shaft dimensions, port arrangement, seals and control-valve details must be verified from the original pump or factory documentation.
