The TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC P16V-RS-11-CC-10-J is a low-noise swash-plate variable displacement piston pump with a maximum displacement of 16 cm³/rev and a maximum working pressure of 21 MPa.
The pump is flange mounted, rotates clockwise when viewed from the shaft end and uses an SAE O-ring seal coupling with an end-port configuration.
Pressure and Displacement Control
The first C in the CC control code identifies pressure-compensator control. As outlet pressure reaches the selected setting, the pump automatically reduces displacement to maintain pressure with minimum required delivery.
The second C identifies the maximum-displacement adjustment feature. This allows the maximum pump output to be mechanically limited for the application.

Installation and Startup Notes
- Confirm clockwise drive rotation before coupling the pump.
- Fill the pump housing with filtered hydraulic oil before first startup.
- Use the specified SAE O-ring fittings and inspect the seals before assembly.
- Provide an independent low-back-pressure case-drain line.
- Set the compensator pressure below the maximum allowable system pressure.
- Adjust maximum displacement only after checking motor power and circuit flow requirements.
- Maintain accurate shaft alignment and avoid rigid piping loads on the pump ports.
Selection and Replacement Notes
The RS code identifies clockwise rotation and the end-port SAE O-ring connection arrangement. P16V-RG, P16V-RS and foot-mounted P16VFR configurations must not be treated as identical.
Verify rotation, port orientation, shaft dimensions, CC control, Design 11 and the J suffix before shipment. A P16VM pump is also not an automatic substitute because its pressure rating and construction differ from the P16V series.
