The TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC P8VMR-20-CB-10 is a compact low-noise variable displacement axial piston pump with an approximate maximum displacement of 8.4 cm³/rev.

The CB configuration provides pressure-compensator control without the additional maximum-displacement adjustment identified by the CBC code.

Hydraulic Operation

At pressures below the compensator setting, the pump supplies displacement according to circuit demand. As outlet pressure reaches the setting, the swash plate moves toward minimum displacement to maintain pressure with reduced delivery.

The pump is intended for systems operating within an approximate pressure-setting range of 1.8 to 7 MPa.

• Confirm the required clockwise rotation from the shaft end.
• Fill the pump case and prime the suction line before startup.
• Prevent air leakage on the suction side.
• Keep the drain line separate from high-back-pressure return lines.

Replacement Notes

This Design 20 model is cited as a successor for certain older P8VMR Design 10 pumps. Replacement suitability still depends on the CB or CBC control configuration, shaft, flange, ports and required maximum-displacement adjustment.
