Pressure and Temperature Measurement Configuration
The Gefran ME2-6-M-B07C-1-4-D-000 is a mercury-filled melt pressure transmitter configured for simultaneous process pressure measurement and type J thermocouple temperature feedback. It provides a 4–20 mA pressure signal and is designed for high-temperature polymer processing installations.

Installation-Critical Dimensions
The 6-inch rigid stem and 18-inch capillary must be verified physically before replacement. A transmitter with the same 700 bar range but different stem or capillary dimensions may not place the electronic housing in a safe location. The capillary must not be sharply bent, twisted or used to support the housing.
Inspect the 1/2-20 UNF mounting hole for damaged threads and hardened process material. Installation depth and sealing geometry must match the existing machine. Excessive torque or contact with the diaphragm can permanently damage the transmitter.
Separate Pressure and Temperature Circuits
The 4–20 mA pressure loop and type J thermocouple circuit perform different functions and must be wired according to the correct terminal diagram. Verify loop polarity, supply voltage, shield grounding, thermocouple polarity and cold-junction compensation. Do not connect the thermocouple input as part of the current loop.
Differences from Related ME Products
ME1-6-M-B05C-1-4-D 2130X000X00 F007704 uses a different pressure code and physical configuration. ME0 variants may use rigid-stem-only construction. WE transmitters use diathermic oil filling, while KE products use sodium-potassium filling. A third-party MPI suffix denotes a compatible replacement rather than this Gefran model.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes
