Controller and Safety Checks
Configure the pressure input so that 4 mA represents 0 bar and 20 mA represents 1000 bar. Existing alarm and shutdown values must be reviewed when replacing a different pressure range. Connect the thermocouple conductors only to a Type J-compatible input with correct polarity and cold-junction compensation. Do not connect the thermocouple circuit to the powered current loop.
Installation and Replacement
Cool and depressurize the process before removing the existing transmitter. Inspect the mounting bore and thread, protect the sensing diaphragm from tools and hardened polymer, and route the flexible capillary away from tight bends and moving components. Verify the six-pin wiring diagram before energizing the pressure loop.
