Product Description
The T8850 Output Field Termination Assembly (FTA) provides termination for up to 40 output field loops, arranged in five groups of eight identical channels each. A green LED indicates the presence of the field power supply for each power group. The FTA routes the signal from the output module to the connected field devices, ensuring proper distribution and integrity of the output signals.
The connection between the 40-channel output module and the FTA is terminated at the 96-way socket JDH2. SmartSlot (Version 1) signals from the module are connected via JDH1. This setup ensures reliable communication between the output module and the field termination assembly, supporting both analogue and digital output operations.
The DC field power supplies are connected to the FTA through a 10-way terminal block (P1). The 40 output signals to the field are wired via 2-wire arrangements, terminated on dual-height terminal blocks TB2. This configuration provides organized wiring, clear separation of channels, and straightforward installation within the Trusted System architecture.
