The Bently Nevada 330130-040-10-CN sits in the 3300 XL proximity system as an extension cable. In simple terms, it bridges the proximity probe and the Proximitor sensor, carrying eddy current signals so vibration and shaft data don’t get lost along the way. You’ll normally see it on turbines or compressors where monitoring never really stops.
- 330130: base 3300 XL extension cable family
- -040: 4.0 m cable length (around 13.1 ft)
- -10: FluidLoc coaxial build + connector protection
- -CN: regional certification option (no hazardous approvals)
It’s basically the build definition, not something users need to decode on site every time.
The FluidLoc cable design is there to stop oil or moisture from creeping through the coaxial line. That kind of slow migration is common in turbine environments.
So instead of reaching the junction box, fluids get blocked inside the cable structure.
It’s intended for the 3300 XL 8mm system. What matters more is loop length matching with the Proximitor sensor. In many setups, this 4.0 m extension cable is paired with a 1.0 m probe to make a standard 5 m system loop.
Rated for roughly -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +350°F). In practice, it runs close to turbine casings, pump bodies, and steam lines where heat and vibration are constant. That’s where its insulation and shielding really get tested.
