It’s mainly the size. The Bently Nevada 330102-00-13-10-02-00 comes with a shorter 1.3-inch case, fully threaded all the way through. In tighter machine areas, that small change actually matters quite a bit.

There’s also the cable setup. Stainless armor is already on it, and the connector side doesn’t carry the bulky plastic sleeve you usually see on standard Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8mm Probe versions. Less bulk, easier to route, especially inside crowded housings.

The probe already has a 1-meter integral cable, so it’s not a standalone piece.

Most of the time it ends up in a full 3300 XL Proximity Sensor chain. That usually means an 8-meter extension cable and a matching Proximitor module to complete the 9-meter system length. Some setups skip the extension if the layout is short enough and connect directly to a 1-meter Proximitor instead.

Nothing exotic here, just matching it correctly to the system length.

The probe tip is standard 8mm, built on a 3/8-24 UNF thread body. No smooth shoulder section in between, it’s fully threaded along the case.

Length-wise, the housing is 1.3 inches overall.

On the connector side, it uses the usual gold-plated ClickLoc male type. The “02” configuration simply means it ships without the outer connector protector sleeve, nothing more than that.

Usually it shows up where space is already a problem.

Turbine bearing housings, compressor casings, generator frames—places like that. The shorter body makes installation less awkward when nearby components are already packed tightly.

It’s used for Steam Turbine Shaft Vibration Monitoring, Centrifugal Compressor Displacement Measurement, and general fluid-film bearing machines where non-contact displacement sensing is standard practice.

Temperature range is the typical industrial band: -52°C to +177°C.

The 00 option just means standard build, no special hazardous-area marking attached to the probe itself. In most real installations, it’s used inside Bently Nevada 3500 System or API 670 Transducer System configurations where the full system compliance comes from the overall setup, not this single probe alone.
