330173-08-18-10-02-00 is a Bently Nevada 3300 5mm Proximity Probe with M8x1 metric thread. It comes with an unarmored case, 80 mm unthreaded length, 180 mm overall case length, and 1.0 meter FEP cable.
The probe uses a miniature male ClickLoc coaxial connector and standard configuration without additional agency approval.
This 5mm eddy current probe is used for shaft vibration, axial position, and Keyphasor speed measurement on rotating equipment.
Common equipment includes steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and other fluid-film bearing machines. The signal is normally connected to Bently Nevada monitoring systems such as 3500 series racks.
The 1 meter probe cable is used with a 4 meter 3300 XL extension cable to make a standard 5 meter loop.
A matching 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor for 5mm probe systems is required. Using the correct 75Ω triaxial cable helps keep the measurement signal stable.
Keep the ClickLoc connector clean and dry. Avoid twisting during installation.
For oily or wet conditions, a silicone boot or sealing protection can be used.
Standard calibration: AISI 4140 steel.
For other shaft materials, eddy current response may vary. Check the calibration curve before use.
