What the probe does
The probe is the sensing end of a 3300 XL 8 mm eddy-current proximity system. It detects changes in distance to a conductive shaft without touching it, supporting continuous machinery protection and condition monitoring.

Radial shaft vibration, axial position, Keyphasor phase reference and speed-related measurements on turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, generators and gearboxes.
Configuration & Programming — what actually needs setting
Confirm M10 × 1 mounting, 5 m system length, target material and option 02 environmental protection.
Mount without exceeding 15 mm thread engagement; route the armor with a safe bend radius.
Set the initial probe gap to the required bias voltage, commonly around −9 Vdc for radial vibration.
