Configuration, Installation & Use
Routing checklist: Confirm the module-to-FTA pairing, isolate the relevant circuit, inspect both connectors, route the cable without tight bends or tension, secure it away from high-energy conductors, and fully latch both ends. Perform channel continuity and diagnostic checks before restoring service.
Programming impact: The cable has no firmware. Configuration remains in the Trusted application; after replacement, confirm channel mapping, signal state and diagnostics rather than changing logic simply because a cable was replaced.
Application Notes
Suitable for control-cabinet signal routing in Trusted safety and process systems. The LSZH construction is useful where reduced smoke and corrosive gas emission is specified. The 4.5 m length supports wider cabinet or multi-bay layouts without field-made extensions.
Lifecycle & Replacement Planning
Cables should be treated as coded engineered components. A different TC-501 suffix may change jacket or length and is not automatically interchangeable. Shorter 2M0 or other 4M5 variants may be considered only after connector, pinout, fire-performance and routing verification.
