The 6N137 is a high-speed optocoupler featuring a 10Mbit/s data rate and guaranteed performance across a wide temperature range of -40 to 85. It offers logic gate output, high isolation voltage (Viso=5000 V rms), and is halogen-free, Pb-free, and RoHS compliant. Packaged in an 8-pin DIP, it is available in wide-lead spacing and SMD options. This device comprises an infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a high-speed integrated photodetector logic gate with a strobable output.
