Product Overview
The Toshiba TLP2398 is a photocoupler featuring a GaAAs infrared LED coupled with a high-gain, high-speed photo detector. Housed in an SO6 package, it is designed for flexible input signal handling (sinking and sourcing) due to its reverse-parallel LED configuration. The device offers a totem-pole output stage with current sourcing and sinking capabilities. Its internal Faraday shield ensures a high common-mode transient immunity of 20 kV/s. The TLP2398 provides a logic inverter output; a buffer output version, the TLP2395, is also available.
