Product Overview

The Vishay VO3052 and VO3053 are optocouplers featuring a GaAs infrared LED coupled to a monolithic photosensitive non-zero crossing triac detector. Designed for driving triacs, these devices offer a 600 V blocking voltage, suitable for controlling off-line voltages up to 240 VAC and sufficient for up to 380 V. They provide a high dV/dt immunity of 1500 V/s minimum and are available in a 6-pin DIP package. Key applications include household appliances, AC motor drives, solenoid/valve controls, office automation, HVAC, and switching power supplies.
