They feature a glass-passivated junction, low forward voltage drop, and high current capability, making them suitable for various power supply and rectification circuits. The devices are housed in a JEDEC SMA (DO-214AC) molded plastic package, easily cleaned with common solvents, and the plastic material carries U/L recognition 94V-0.
