Product Overview
The IXYS DSEI 2x30-04/06 and DSEI 2x31-04/06 are Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diodes (FRED) packaged in the international standard miniBLOC (SOT-227 B), compatible with ISOTOP. These devices feature 2 independent FREDs in a single package, planar passivated chips, and offer very short recovery times, extremely low switching losses, and low IRM-values with soft recovery behavior. Their high reliability circuit operation, low voltage peaks, and low noise switching make them suitable for various applications including antiparallel diodes for high-frequency switching devices, anti-saturation diodes, snubber diodes, free-wheeling diodes in converters and motor control circuits, rectifiers in switch mode power supplies (SMPS), inductive heating and melting, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and ultrasonic cleaners and welders. Advantages include reduced protection circuits, low losses, and the potential for operation at lower temperatures or space saving due to reduced cooling.
