The MCR08B and MCR08M are surface-mount thyristors designed for line-powered consumer applications. They feature sensitive gate trigger current, blocking voltages up to 800V, and glass passivation for reliability. These PNPN devices are suitable for relay and lamp drivers, small motor controls, gate drivers for larger thyristors, and sensing/detection circuits.
