The IXYS DSEI 12-10A is a Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diode (FRED) designed for high-frequency switching applications. It features a planar passivated chip, very short recovery time, and extremely low switching losses, contributing to high reliability circuit operation and reduced protection circuits. Its soft recovery behavior and low peak reverse current (IRM) values make it suitable for antiparallel diode applications in converters, motor control circuits, switch mode power supplies (SMPS), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
